Welcome to the month of April. By the time you are reading this, you will be deep into it. That means I cannot play any April Fool jokes on you. Never been a fan of those anyway. When I was a kid, my Big Brother Adam had one of his friends call me to tell me that they had heard me sing and that I was going to be on Star Search. For all of you who remember that was a REALLY big show for any performer singers. I was so excited, until I heard April Fool’s. Brothers.
Another BIG deal in April is TAX day! Yep! Deadlines for filing those personal income tax returns. I don’t think most people mind paying taxes as long as they are being put to good use. I think it’s the waste that bothers most us citizens.
Both of these days I mention above are for sure conversation starters, one full of funny stories, the other maybe not so much, but there are few days more memorable than the day you buy your dream home. That day is supposed to be fun, exciting and a great feeling of accomplishment.

Just down the street from where I’m typing has a full house of kids with many AYSO Region 3 are returning back to playing soccer. And that is no April Fools joking matter
For over 45 years, AYSO Region 3 has established itself as respected recreational soccer program for boys and girls who have had 1,000’s of volunteers throughout the years.
Whether it’s providing food for the struggling and hungry through its many food pantries, or providing temporary housing for the displaced, the abused or the homeless, to the jobs programs for struggling neighbors trying to get back on their feet, to the clothing, the Summer Lunch Programs, the Toy Shop and their Market Place for poverty-stricken neighbors, MUST leads the way in restoring lives one person and one community at a time.
Most don’t know though that AYSO is a non-profit. They depend on sponsorships and donations to help keep the program running.
This year, we are on a mission to raise $10,000 for AYSO Region 3. We do this by donating to them a portion of our income from homes we sell.
