IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY
The sweet homes HOTT Homes represents are precious to us. As a part of our mission is to guarantee that all of our homes are cared for as though they are our own. In order to do this, we care for our owners and tenants everyday. We believe a happy and cared for home is occupied by happy tenants. A happy tenant does not destroy property or do anything to disrespect their property manager even when the going gets BAD.
Last week I had to invite a tenant to vacate because they were late on their rent and could not bring their account current within the time frame allowed. With a heavy heart the owner directed us to move forward with removing them from the property. For a tenant this is the worst circumstance; for the owner they do not want to lose their home due to not having funds to pay their reoccurring mortgage; for us we delicately implement processes to get the tenants to vacate without having to move forward with an eviction.
The process was very difficult for all parties; however, within a week we were able to remove the tenants without having to take legal action. The entire process was amicable and productive. There was no celebration; however, all parties left the table with their dignity in place, respect for one another, and both parties thanked Alan and Monique for a job well done. Both the owner and tenant intend to use HOTT Homes for all of their housing needs, Buy, Sell, or Rent.
